Trigger Installation Service
We understand not all shooters like to take apart their guns to the level that's required to install a trigger or have time to wait for a gunsmith to get to it. So Shooters Element is offering to do the dirty work for you. We will install any parts you buy or supply to us as part of the service. We will even drill out that pesky world compliant welded nut on the new scorpions at no extra charge.
Simply add the installation service on to your order and we'll put the trigger on for you or put on the parts you supply to us. All you need to do is send in your scorpion's lower housing (please do not try and send us your firearm, we are not an FFL and will not/cannot receive in the serialized portion) and then sit back and wait. There are no additional shipping charges for this service since we upgrade the return shipping from standard to 2-3 day priority mail.
Please contact us with your order number and we'll give you instructions on what you need to do in order to send the trigger pack/lower to us.
For those wondering how long it will take, we're usually done with the lower in about a week or less.
Parts:
While we prefer that you buy a Shooters Element trigger or other part from us, we install other vendors parts so please feel free to use this as installation service if that's all that's needed. We're happy to be of service to any customer.
Once the installation is complete we'll send all the original parts back to the customer along with their lower.
Our process is fairly straightforward:
- We receive in your lower
- Inspect it for damage or unusual wear
- Perform trigger pull weight test
- Completely disassemble the trigger pack and safety
- Drill out the welded nut (if required)
- Remove all metal chips and clean all surfaces
- Install new trigger (and spring kit if supplied or purchased)
- Reassemble the trigger pack
- Remove over-mold (flash) from the trigger opening (if required) for proper fit
- Install trigger pack and safety
- Install new trigger case retaining screw
- Perform 25-40 cycle test of the trigger
- Perform trigger pull weight test
- Box up and ship back to customers
